Samira Joy
Dominican ARTIST, Samira Joy was born in New York in 1994, and raised in a small village in New Jersey. She paints what she feels in the moment and so her work is always a surprise. Mixed Media is usually used for her work which includes metal leaf, charcoal, handcrafted iridescent paint, etc.
She graduated in 2015 with an art degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She Majored in Arts & Graphic Design and Minored in photography.
Samira’s inspiration for art comes from Fashion, TV, Music, and History.
Samira’s artwork has been featured in solo exhibitions at the CryOut Cave Gallery & the Fairleigh Dickinson Art Gallery.
